I've been going back and reading your older posts and there is a lot of enlightening material there. Makes me think of the 'pursuit of happiness'. I finally found mine. Although I am struggling financially and facing some obstacles in my life, I am spiritually very happy and some people have a hard time understanding that. Why aren't I more miserable or unhappy given my circumstances? No I am not a Polyanna, but a positive person that happily realizes that true happiness is found inside yourself and anyone can be happy no matter what life throws at them if they are at peace and happy with themselves. Hey, I think I just created another quote? :) "No matter what life throws at you, true happiness can be found through peace with yourself and then no obstacle will seem too big."....what do you think? :) Another one that I didn't write but can't remember who did is..."God doesn't give you more than you can bear." That has gotten me through many tough times throughout my life although I am not a religious person but consider myself spiritual.

Trish,
ReplyDeleteI think that you have nailed it. No matter what you condition, to be happy of unhappy is still a choice.
This can't work in fact, that is exactly what I consider.
