Pet Peeve

This has become one of my "growing in irritation" pet peeves. Does anyone else get frustrated with having to type "Word Verifications" before leaving a comment on a post? Some of the letter combination that are being asked are ridiculous and some are impossible to even make out. I inevitably blow it the first time then have type a new set of ridiculous letters just to leave a comment.

OK, I'm done.

I feel much better now.

  1. Couldn't help but laugh while reading this. I thought I was the only one that couldn't make sense out of some of the word variations! haha I remember one time, it got so frustrating, I almost left the site.
    Ok, I'm done too! *smiles

  2. And your blog is one of the most difficult to comment on, at least for me!

  3. I'm with you on this one. I now copy my post just in case I lose it when the darned thing refuses to understand me! I've read many other gripes about these codes lately the most acceptable solution seems to be a simple addition like 2+2= Makes a lot of sense. Now here goes...

  4. I agree, a simple addition of numbers seems the best.

  7. He he he...I understand your frustration, but funnily enough, even though I typed the wrong set of letters, I never lost my comments (THANK GOD). It'd just ask me to type a new set of letters. ;-D

  8. And it's especially annoying when you have to type the verification twice in the comment section of your own blog.

  9. I turned mine off long ago at the request of a dear friend (Empress Bee). Since then I have done a lot of memes and I hate word verification. When you have to type, retype and then retype again I just want to pull my hair out. Wow, I feel better now too.
