Life

Life should not be measured by the number of breaths we take,
But by the moments that take our breath away.

  8. Amelia,
I like the duck also, but because it seems the guy is making sure that they get across the busy highway safely.

  9. Great pictures. We have a duck family living here alongside a busy road. They wash in the puddles
cross the road and ignore all the traffic. The baby budda is gorgeous

  11. A couple of things:

I've seen dolphins do that - they actually do like to surf. Pretty darned cool.

I know the company (one of them anyway) that did the fish-tanks-on-the-desks thing. You shoulda seen their main conference room, it looked like a submarine. Also very cool.

  12. baba,
I thought the dolphin surfing was an anomaly. It's really cool to think that they actually enjoy it. That fish tank picture has given me some ideas for my office. It would be very tranquil, but I wonder if it would actually be productive from a company perspective.

  13. It wasn't productive - that company got bought by a bigger company, and the first thing the buyer did was get rid of the fish tanks. They looked cool but were very distracting and high maintenance.
