Why read Monday Morning Power?

You will find a consistency and a focus in all of my content that can change your attitude which can fuel a positive change in your life, if you want it to. If you are happy with your attitude and your life and see no reason for changing, then you either already have a PMA (Positive Mental Attitude), or you are a victim and want to hold onto your misery. These postings will then serve to fortify the person with PMA, or, hopefully, convince the "victim" that there is a better way. This site will contain essays, poems, stories, humor and links, all with the same goal: The pursuit, capture, care and feeding of a Positive Mental Attitude. I have had readers tell me that they have spent hours on my site and feel great about themselves both during and after. I log onto my own site frequently to help fuel my attitude; I hope you will as well.

To My Fellow Bloggers.....

Please feel free to link my blog to yours. A dose of "Monday Morning Power" would bolster any blog, except for those that profess doom, destruction and the end of the world. If you want to use any of my content in your blog, please ask first via email or by comment. I will need to review your blog for appropriate content and then give you written permission as well as being sure that you link back.

Monday Morning Power

A dose of "Monday Morning Power" and a cup of coffee and you're ready for whatever awaits you. At a minimum you should read this blog on Monday Mornings. However, there will be new posts daily. Whenever you want to feel good, tune in and help yourself to some "Monday Morning Power." Please share this site with everyone you care about. I welcome your comments and suggestions

Positive Attitudes about Aging

I am very please to have begun an association with a wonderful site called SeniorResource.com. As we all get older attitude plays an even more important role in our lives. I will be leaning on this site for some insight into "Attitude for the Aging." In fact, this will become one of my many focuses and a category of it's own. The following is from their site.

New stimuli and a positive attitude are attributed to "successful" aging. (It's not enough to just tick off the birthdays.) Specific attitude issues to think about to achieve this are:
  • Atittude 1 -- Take risks in life.
  • Atittude 2 --Respect your own opinion.
  • Atittude 3 --Be flexible and adaptable.
  • Atittude 4 --Take on new challenges and learn new things.
  • Atittude 5 --Deal with pain and losses, but don't hold on to the suffering they bring.
  • Atittude 6 --See the half full glass.
  • Atittude 7 --Take care of yourself with healthy eating and regular exercise.
  • Atittude 8 --Don't accept societies myths as true about you.

John,
I have read your post and all of the comments. To me, nothing has been clarified. "Leadership Sucks" is far too broad even in a very specific way. It would be different if you asked about a specific leader by name. Like everything in life there are good leaders and there are bad leaders but in the end, most everything is a matter of our own informed choice as to what we do and how we react. I'm sorry, but I feel that your premise is faulty as it stands. Since this is your challenge, I will post what I just stated if you want me to. Please respond with a comment on my site.
Respectfully,
MMP

First off, thank you for coming over to the Leadership Epidemic to share your thoughts. I know you could just as easily ignore the challenge.

The comment you left indicates that you are in disagreement with the premise of my question, "Does Most Leadership Suck". That is what I am looking for with the challenge, different points of view.

If you haven't guessed by now, I have a tendency to get attached to a specific thought and I have difficulty seeing other people's point of view. The challenge was an invitation to share your point of view; you can agree or disagree.

If you want to stick to what you wrote or have more thoughts you would like to share, write them up in a post them and I will be happy to include the post in the challenge list.

Thanks again for come by.

Take care...

Its a nice of advice, hey i have found a nice site to motivate yourself, just go to : http://www.positive-attitudes.com

DubLiMan said...

Mario,
I have looked at the site you just mentioned and its links. Although there is some good information there, it does not fit into my concept for this blog. The site, and the links, are all geared towards selling their latest and greatest tapes, books, seminars, etc. That is not what I am about. At a later date, I may link to my own site that will feature what I feel are worthwhile products and services, but not at this time.

As far as "motivating myself" goes.....I am my own motivation.

Thanks anyways.
